Default thanks Joe

Thanks Joe I'll keep those strategies in mind. Ive used the counting strategy and the stay in at play time , however around some of these parts the counting definetly does not work they count with you, then if you keep them in, they just play up the whole time their in, nothing phases them. Over here (aus) we cannot keep the children in any longer than 20 minutes and they know it, so they usually end up being sent to the behaviour room, which some say they enjoy going to.

Apparently I shouted too much and didn't control the class. They were horrible. I feel like such a freakin' failure as it's been a long time since I wasn't able to control a class.

The class teacher said I did really well however I'm just annoyed that when I asked her for advice never once did she suggest that I was shouting too much.

Grrrrr ... I thought I'd done a good job as the kids got the work done, they engaged in the tasks.

Anyhoo ... I just needed somewhere to vent and ask for some advice. What do I do to get their attention? It's SO different to secondary school.
