Default Quick Read Books

I keep in my bag The Angel of Nitshill Road by Anne Fine to read to Y4/Y5 kids... can be read in a day/two, takes about an hour in all out loud, but there's loads of easy work that can come from it, all centred around bullying. Brilliant

ing strategies etc. Very easy to pick up and read just a chapter to the kids, if you can bring them up to speed with characters.

It's a bit too chintzy for Y6, and I haven't tried it with Y3, think you'd need to take more time over it.
