Question "Why?" Poem

Trying to remember a poem which I've used with Year 2 before - can anybody help?

It's all about "Why...?" questions and I think that it

ts with... "Why is the grass always green?" and there's definitely a bit that goes "Why, oh why, oh why?"
It's a simple poem and every verse has 4 questions - I've used it before to encourage the children to write their own questioning poem but my mind has gone blank and a Google search hasn't helped!!

Sorry, I don't know the poem, though I often find myself asking why!

I'm guessing you didn't find it on google?

Found it!!!

I remembered a line from the fourth verse and that was "googleable!"

Here it is for anyone else who'd like it...

Why?

Why is grass always green?
What holds up the sky?
Why is hair upon my head?
Why, oh why, oh why?

Why does rain go down, not up?
Why is salt in every sea?
Why is there a sun and moon?
Why is there only one me?

Why do bees buzz and birds sing?
Why do nails grow on my toes?
How long is a piece of string?
Why is it no-one knows?

Why is night so full of dreams?
Why do we have one nose, two eyes?
Why do questions never end?
Why are there so many whys?
