Default Can ed consultant give a teaching reference?

I'm applying for jobs for Sept and I'm wondering who to put down as a reference.

I have my two placement schools from PGCE last year and my uni tutor's reference, but I feel that I have moved on and improved my teaching since last year.

Is it possible to put down an agency ed. consultant? I've asked one from my main agency and he said that he would give me one, but would it be classed as a teaching ref. or more like a character one? I.e. could I put down him and my uni ref.?

I could still use the one from final placement but I think my mentor just faxes my final review over, which includes good points and areas for improvement - not what I want in a ref. And I don't want to ask her to change it - didn't get on with her very well; she scares me!!!!

Sorry for the ramble, just not sure what to do!

Any suggestions??!!

I'd use the agency one and your uni reference... You're supposed to give two, but you could put on a note saying that if anymore are required, i.e. your placement/teachy ones, contact details could be provided...

Would you like me to check your covering letter, CV, supporting statement or application form?

Thanks for the help!
