from the interview that I would and by the time I finished the interview I didn't actually want the job. I couldn't quite put my finger on it but I really didn't get a very nice feeling from the school or the headteacher. And being there and thinking about teaching solid music for half a week actually didn't seem that appealing, I think I would really miss teaching ICT and other subjects. So all in all a good experience and am quite happy with the result.

I've had that before at interviews, Danfur, where I've felt as though I wouldn't actually want the job if they'd offered it to me...and felt relieved not to have had to make the choice.

Really sorry that you didn't get it, as I know how much you'd love to get back to teaching, but, as you have said yourself, you weren't that keen...

There will be something else much better out there, just wait and see!!!

At least you can put that experience behind you now Danfur and enjoy 1/2 term. You seemed to know that the position wasn't for you and that's a nice feeling at least.

On to better things
