How does this sound?

After so much advice I decided that I would focus on the sound 'sh'! this is 2 teach 10 foundation stage 2 children for 15minutes!

first of all I decided that the children could say the sound sh in a bossy way, quiet way,

way, shy way etc to practice saying the sound!

Next I thought the children could seperate words which had the sh sound in them and words which did not!

After I was going to get the children to match objects to the sh words!

Do you think this is the correct way to do a 15 minute phonic activity?

Has anyone got any advice on how to change this or make it better?!?

Just the finger phonics action? I don't know if this is in every school, or anything about it really, or if there is one, but my nephew bites his left arm with his right hand pretending to be an ant for 'a', and pretends to crack an egg for 'e', and sort of blows a (finger) candle out for 'p'... I know it's a published thing, is there one for 'sh'?

Only thing I might add other than that, is maybe make sure some of the words have a 'sh' at the end/in the middle, not just the beginning?

I am just a little apprehensive as its my first interview and I specialised in key stage 2 !!! So like you I have no knowledge but I clearly stated that in my letter of application and I am going to be quite upfront about it!

I have another interview next friday too now but I will think about that when this one is over.

Oh goodness! At first, I read that as this Friday, not next, and had a mini panic on your behalf!!

Consider before your interview... if they offer it to you, will you take it, and give up your chance of working in the other school? Seems sod's law sometimes that the interview in the teacher's fav. school is the second one and they have to ask this Q!
