My decision is to go for the fixed term contract for 2 terms with Y6. This is after a lot of deep soul searching.

Had another phone call this morning from this school where even the caretaker was offering to make my drinks at anytime.

I went to the other school this morning and the boss used tons of emotional blackmail and I couldn't make the decision even then. He offered me a fixed term for the summer term which meant that I would have been paid over the school holidays.

The main reason for my decision, I think, was in the end the knowing where I would be until Christmas and that I would be sure of where I was. Last September was a horrid month because little work came in to

t out with, everyone fit and healthy after their summer break and few courses being run.

I haven't been able to tell the boss yet cos he was out this afternoon but I have to phone him tonight and of course I am dreading that. I wonder if headteachers feel the same dread when they have to let people know that they have failed at interview? I will be glad to get it over with I know that!

Needless to say my blood pressure was slightly up this morning but the nurse said that it was not surprising.

Thanks again for your support,

I'm sure they're not all like that, but I'm bitter at the moment!!

Sounds like a plan Joan, grab a glass of vino before you go for it!!!

. We had just had a snack and at 12.45, the phone went and this lady asked me if I was free to to do that afternoon. Of course I was relaxed and wearing jeans and the last thing I really wanted to was.............. but as I couldn't think of a real reason or lie I said "Actually I am!"

I got changed in minutes flat and was up there. It was a y6 class and as I went in, I said Y6 huh what do you want me to do? Their reply was , well they are supposed to be doing ... but the class teacher says and she is also the deputy anything you want. Sorry about the punctuation I can't be arsed a lot at the moment and I am rambling. (and swearing)

So that is where this work has come from. Spoke to my friend at the other school and she said he needs his legs slapping and aanother who said it serves him right he should have got straight back to you.

He was quite gracious to be honest but am I shattered.
