ied onto my laptop.
There's a massive, varied selection, mostly U2esque.
But for some reason, I always come back to Damien Rice - O.
It's simply wonderful.

I have a very varied musical taste from classical (given the right mood) to rock, like Keene, Damien Rice, Snow Patrol, Roxy Music, 70s 80s etc

At the moment I can't get enough of Sheryl Crow greatest hits and KT Tunstall. I do like quite a variation though, and love good old cheesy pop.

I like loads of different things, classics, rock (Queen's my fave group). Latest acquisitions are Scissors Sisters and Lily Allen (but mini-mini-cracker keeps stealing that one, even though it's got bad words in)

As I'm reading this thread, I'm listening to Roxy Music... jinx firecrest, and got all those you mentioned!

Can't really name any female artists I listen too, I guess as I've a low singing voice (tenor, but sing alto to help out the choir a bit more), and I love singing along, I can't get into higher pitched voices... Blokes have far sexier voices too! (Can't wait to see the Google Ads for this thread now I've said the S word!)

Just had a look through my collection on here, and have actually got a lot more female artists than I thought, thought I'd got less than 3, but have nearly got a dozen! Haven't got any Annie Lenox, which is the first name I thought of when I was thinking of the ones I've got! Curious... must have escaped out of the door with my ex!

I love most music, particluarly older stuff. Fleetwood Mac are brilliant. At the moment though i just stick Radio 2 on and listen to that. We have Andrew Lloyd Webber Gold in the house cd player and never seem to change it, good for a belt out! And I have Dixie Chicks 'Fly"in the car which i put on if the radio is dull and I want to sing along. Great Album

for me Argentina, Take that look off your face, Memories, Starlight Express!!!! Mum used to put it on in the car on long journeys for a sing-a-long!

I'm loving Scissor Sisters, REM, Nirvana unplugged, Beatles, 80's cheese, Fat Boy Slim, Beatles, Stereophonics and many many more. I don't tend to stick to one type of music. Just like I don't stick to one school or year group!!!!

Nutty, my OH is a huge Roxy fan and I have been to see Ferry in concert 3 times, got back stage passes so met the great fella and also had a chat with Chris Spedding the great guitarist.

I too like to sing along and have a variety of female singers inc Kelly clarkson and cascade.

Love the Eurythmics especially when I am doing the housework.

In the car I swap between Radio 2 and Lincs Fm but also have Josh Groban cd and snow patrol.

Might now be a big fan of South and West African music! 'Our' choir, formed in five parts on Monday, and meeting for the first time yesterday at 2pm, sang a whole concert to a full capacity crowd last night! The choir had 120 (80 from local secondary schools) in it, and was headed by Jools Holland's musical arranger Paul Bartholemew, with his band, about 6 strong (from Ghana, M'ique, London etc!) and two wonderful African ladies singing.

Wow. It was amazing! Haven't yet stopped singing the songs in my head, though can't out loud, as it sounds silly with just one voice, and not the soprano line at that!
