Default Thanks for help and support to start supplying

Just to say thanks for all the help on the site. I was desperate for work last term, wasn't getting more than the odd day, even though signed up with two supply agencies.

So read all the help here and got organised with a cv and letter which I took round various schools. I rang the schools first, which I thought would be a waste of time, but wasn't as each and everyone remembered my name when I took in my letter. Ringing up and ta

the cv/letter had me stressed beyond belief, I was convinced whoever answered the 'phone would be horrible to me and get me upset. But they didn't, all were really nice.

At least one school then asked for me when they contacted the agency! Have now a regular amount of work from that school.

Going around also helped calm my nerves. Not being good at having to work without having planned each detail of the journey never mind the work I find supply very scary. Having visited the schools I now know where most of my local ones are, where the reception area is (not always clearly signed) and where I can park my car.

So thanks for all the help.

e if I was reguarly going into new schools - maybe it would get easier, as I am now a lot more relaxed about not knowing exactly what I am doing and how things work - but I do much prefer going into my main regular school where I know all the children, all the staff, the timetable, and the expectations and most importantly the etiquette for tea and coffee!
Keep going and it will just get easier.
