Default Drama teacher/ TA from abroad

Hi
To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts.

I'm foreinger, and I'd like to work in UK as a Drama teacher [i suppose - firs as a TA]. I'm a sociologist and amateur actress, I work for trenings company [I'm the coach, co-trainer, assessor] , I'm not a teacher. Could U help me and give some advices what should I start of, what documents I should have, and so on. And tell me please, what do you think - is it easier to find a job in town or in a big city? I'd prefer town [I think about Warwick, Sollihul, Dudley - perchaps some of you comes from that region?], but I'm not sure is it a good choise?

I'll be grateful for any advices

Hi Elena,

I think you'd have to work as a TA, and maybe you could train whilst working?

If you become an HLTA, with more qualifications in the right area, then you'd almost earn as much as a teacher!

Good luck...
