Default Thanks to you Nutty!

Hello! Just need to thank you Nutty for your useful covering letter template in the getting started bit of the website. I know you've been thanked before but I wanted to draw attention to it for anyone out there who is new to the site. It has just saved me head scratching and draft binning time this morning so THANK YOU!

I went to visit a school on Friday cos my youngest is due to start in September 2010 and now is the time to get applications in and they asked me to drop my information into the office so they can use me for supply...hooray! I trotted off the covering letter using your template this morning and am updating my CV this afternoon...it all seems so much easier with this fab site to help

Some people won't have one... you really just need your DfES number / NI number I suppose if you haven't.

Thanks again! I don't have one...sigh. This county are trying to get out of my old county which point I should be on and, of course, old county have far better things to do with their time than look up information about some old teacher who worked for them 12 years ago and haven't told new county what to pay me! Lovely girl on the phone reassured me by saying that I will be paid but probably not at the right level til this is sorted out, but that I will get back pay if necessary...all very annoying!

How are you doing? It's all happening for you soon isn't it?! I may be slightly out of date with teaching but I am the wise woman of childbirth! I'd have another one if I hadn't just had my 42nd birthday and if I didn't think I would be too thinly spread (I've got 4)...hope it's all simply marvellous for you!

Thank you! Yes, still more excited about work on the house than forthcoming child, but I'm sure that'll change soon!! A quite relaxed about the actual birth though, and staying away from YouTube birthing videos!

Did I tell you that happened to me? Got paid at unqualified rate one May, took til that October for my old county to confirm with new county what point I was on, then got back pay - eventually! Hope it's quicker for you!

Unqualified rate?! That's not going to do much for the family finances! Better make a pest of myself I think...usually works!
