Default Classroom rules posters for secondary supply

Do you use posters that have your classroom rules on them?

This is an example in this blog post (sorry you got to cut and paste it, forum wont let me link it, to young):

classroomcanada.blogspot.com/2008/08/rules-rules-and-more-rules-setting-tone.html

I have seen something similar in Bill Rogers book.

What is your take on them?

If you use them what do you have on them? What size do you use for the posters - A3 or A4? Lamenated?

How do you use them?

Should i use these with year 10 and 11 students?

Cheers for you help.

On supply? I wouldn't use them. I did have basic ones in my classroom when I was teaching full-time though...

I've used a basic list of expectations with KS2 classes & blu tacked it to the whiteboard, just as a reminder for them. not sure how well it would work with KS3/4, they should (hopefully!) be ok with a verbal reminder.
