obviously) judges of how they're doing are the TAs/HLTAs who spent the day in the classroom with them! You may find they don't remember who you are, you may find they think on reflection that you were really good and while you're on the phone / in reception they ask you to do some more dates! From now on though, I'd be tempted to ask while you were there, maybe the teacher in the adjoining classroom, or the TAs who assisted you if you regard them highly at the end of the day!
