Default Advice please!

Hey I am an NQT and I have been doing some supply work but I don't know how
I am doing. Is it ok to contact the school and ask for some feedback in order to develop? Thanks

Hi twilight...

It's worth a shot!

To be honest, some won't be able to say... supply teachers come and go, and many go unseen by Heads etc., and probably the best (though not professionally speaking obviously) judges of how they're doing are the TAs/HLTAs who spent the day in the classroom with them! You may find they don't remember who you are, you may find they think on reflection that you were really good and while you're on the phone / in reception they ask you to do some more dates! From now on though, I'd be tempted to ask while you were there, maybe the teacher in the adjoining classroom, or the TAs who assisted you if you regard them highly at the end of the day!

Good luck...
