Default Tutoring

Can anyone help? I've put a search in but came up with nothing. I am sure that I read a post on here about 1to1 tutoring set up by the gov for pupils in schools. When I read it I looked up the website but now I can't find it. The Supply agency have suggested that maybe I could do this whilst the work mess is sorted.

Thank you Nutty, I have registerd my interest, I am now worrying about what tutoring entails! Is it anything like teacher booster classes only with one child?

I'm registered for this too and am supposed to be starting with 2 pupils once the school has got its act in gear

These are the links to the guidance for tutors stuff, the 'what works well' pilot stuff and the one to one tuition toolkit. The toolkit has videos of tuition in practice attached to it. The guidance for tutors pack is very useful.

I've been home-tutoring individual children for almost 10 years and loved it (most of the time, except a particularly smelly pre-teen with a tick!

As I'm sure I've said in a previous post, the schools in my area seem to want the tutors before or after the school day. I can earn more doing this privately (I charge between £20 and £25 per hour and work at home so I have no child minding costs at all - bit cushy really!

I registered my interest earlier in the year but haven't heard from them recently.
