Default Nursery Supply

Hi, i was wondering if, as a primary NQT, i can join an agency for nursery nurses. I'm a little concerned about what i'll do over the summer holidays so thought this would be good option. However, they say you must have NVQ level 3. I just wonder if we are allowed to be placed as a nursery nurse when, technically, we have not been trained as such and i didnt do early years either. Any advice would be much appreciated.

Hi, I'm KS2 trained, and have done half a day in Nursery, in a school, the Head asked me to, and knew I'd never done it...

I'm sure I've read on here of people doing it, I don't think you get paid as a teacher, just nursery nurse, but during the summer at least there'd be work!
