Default Supply in Newcastle area?

I'm new to this forum (but not supply) and also fairly new to North Tyneside/Newcastle. I've been working through one agency this term and I have had an average of 2 days a week (which is all we need to get by, although more would be nice - and I realise I am in very fortunate position here....). I'm prepared to travel - have been as far as Hartlepool before - but I don't do KS2 if I can help it. I usually get very good feedback for EY and KS1, which is why I'm reluctant to branch into KS2. I like to stick to what I know I'm good at, as it makes the whole experience more enjoyable - and I've found that I get asked back as a result!

I have a good relationship with the agency, who always seem to give me advance notice - no early morning calls as yet, all prebookings, which is great. It's just been very quiet this week, and I'm wondering if this is universal or if maybe I need to get on the books with another agency?! Any and all suggestions gratefully received!

Thanks

Hi

I'm from up north, pretty near you I think. Last year at this time it was very quiet - I only got 4 days supply last December - so I think that it can be like this at this time of year. I can recommend a

I'm registered with Elite (like them a lot) and have thought about registering with First Class, might do that after Christmas. Cheers for the heads up, it's good to know it's not just me!
