Default c.v help

Hi

After a baby break of five years I would now like to do supply work. My CRB check has come through and i have registered at my daughters school but am now unsure about my c.v or should i say lack of one after such a break. Any good advice?

Hi Mols!

Just go with it with your CV, and be honest! I'm sure schools see this a lot, thousands of people take breaks, and schools would probably welcome you as an experienced teacher! Plug your prior experience hard and any ways in which you've kept up to date. You need to be somewhat familiar with the new framework really, can you do some voluntary work at your daughter's school (or elsewhere if you've not already a good relationship with the school) or are there return to teaching courses near you?
