Hi Sabbyo and welcome to the forum. You will have completed your first day as a supply teacher today (sorry this is a bit late coming). Anyway I hope it went well and you enjoyed the experience, which year group did you have?

As for my first few days-I was sooo nervous and full of concerns that I wouldn't find it very rewarding as I wasn't a class teacher etc. etc. But it was actually an enjoyable experience and it does have its benefits as you aren't as stressed, hours are better and the flexibility is brilliant. Although the work is not always regular. I hope it has gone well for you, let us know. Have you come out of regular teaching and into the world of supply?

Good luck with it.
