Songs as time fillers!
Hi, I find singing songs quite a good time filler especially for KS1. However, I cannot sing. Here are some I've tried:
(sung to tune of Glory Glory Hallelua)
Peter Rabbit had a fly upon his nose,
Peter Rabbit had a fly upon his nose,
Peter Rabbit had a fly upon his nose,
And he swished and he swashed and the fly flew away!
Floppy ears and curly whiskers,
Floppy ears and curly whiskers,
Floppy ears and curly whiskers,
And he swished and he swashed and the fly flew away!
(Actions go well with this song)
Heads Shoulders Knees and Toes (of course!)
Old Mac Donald had a farm (chn choose own animals and the sound effects they make)
The Wheels on the Bus (with actions)
Has anyone got any more they do?

KS1 is my end, I love all the singing, one of my faves is:
With my hands on my head what have I here? This is my main thinker my teacher dear, main thinker nicky nacky nocky noo, that's what they taught me when I went to school.
Same beginning then point to eyes: eye blinkers
And say eye blinkers, main thinker .....
then smell boxer, chin wagger, cough chester, bread basket (tummy), knee knockers, and lastly toe tappers. Great fun.
Also Aiken drum, you can make up what food he's To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. You currently have 0 posts. e of as you go along, let the kids do it.
Also MMM AAH went the little green frog one day...
Loads more hidden in the depths, want more??
