Literacy: a story with exactly 99 words called 'The Forgotten Land'?
PHSCE: Design a child-friendly supermarket, what needs to be considered? (I just thought this one up, I like it! Wish I had a class to use it on!)

to run, how will the machine be powered, etc. Labelling the parts & explaining in words how the machine works will stretch the more able children as well as helping you understand the finished product.

The drawing will cover art/design, the labelling & explaining will cover literacy (explanitory texts).

Early finishers could also design an advert for the machine.
