on here... should have plenty!

Don't spend a long time planning! The teachers get paid PPA time for that, should have plans written well in advance (like a week, though last year's should be available somewhere too!) so no excuses if it's not pre-booked work, and no planning was left for me about less than 5% of times in a good half dozen years... Also try to do generic ones rather than for each year group... Y3 & 4 could do the same, or Y4 & 5, and there's a link somewhere from yesterday to a Maths Starter of the Day (search it on here!) which should give you all the generic

Hi
I always found some problem solving questions are a good back up for Maths. I can't remember the name of them exactly but they are on the new framework website and they are sort of assessment questions for the end of a unit. I'll see if I can find them and post a link. I always found they were good as they were easily differentiated to make easier/more difficult and easily written on a whiteboard to be worked out independently or in little groups.
