Sorry to hear you had such a rubbish day. Some classes have reputations as being difficult and this class certainly sounded difficult. Its very hard to manage behaviour when you only have one day, it sounds like the head should have done a lot more! Just make a mental note not to go back to that school again. There are nicer schools to work in (somewhere!)
