I think call for tutors depends on where you are and what you can offer. I do Primary and 11+ school entrance. In Surrey this is a bog issue and I have about 10 pupils at £25 an hour. The biggest problem is that the time window (say 4 to 7 PM and weekends) takes me away form my 9 year old. That is why I have started doing supply as well.
