Are IWBs digital? I'm not sure, that may be the difference. I tend to agree with the linked report here that they are used as glorified OHPs and not used to their full potential, I don't think they're worth the cost to most teachers, but they're getting used to them I guess.. in 10 years' time they'll be used properly! 9/10 I'm sure just use the Notepad on there as a whiteboard that you can save for the next day... I'm sure there are very few that have done the handwriting recognition thing where it can convert your scrawl to type, so the kids can read it better!
Has anyone tried Microsoft OneNote? I downloaded a trial version for 60 days, it's a fantastic tool, and though it'd take some getting used to, I'd give it a good go, and it'd probably end up being the only thing I used in school!
