I know it's so annoying, there a big rant a bout this on TES (think i've seen you there nutty!)
I read somewhere that 'they' have predicted that in 2007 thousands are going to retire which is why they are still training the same numbers and putting out those crap adverts. I don't believe it though.
And yes it's annoying about the nurses in the news, nothing about the nurses but it means that the general public understand the state of the NHS but all education gets is crap about failing standards and behaviour. Healthy eating is about the only positive news we get. SO no-one understand the recruitment issues.
