Arghhh! At least the girl has a degree... half the TAs/CSs in my school haven't got basic numeracy/literacy skills.. they're mums who were taken on when hours came up... they're lovely, they're fantastic at their job, but shouldn't be 'teaching' like some of them are. I've seen spellings corrected incorrectly and sums marked wrong which were right! Nice as pie when you point it out though, they admit they're struggling... it's even gone to the HT, but nothing's been done about it.. .the school is already used to saving the money.
Keep those teeth clenched jogr8, I can't see it getting any better for a year or so! (Maybe when she's doing her PGCE, they'll ask you to do the PPA instead!)
