Talking Have fun

An extremely interesting read about a teachers day. Quite humorous in a strange way. I definately wouldn't want to be that supply teacher.

I wouldn't have returned to the school if I felt how the teacher felt.

But i also wouldn't worry about children writing down the wrong names as it is only going onto their attendance record and their parents getting harrassed by the school as it appears they are not present. I probably would have reminded the children about that and it would make me smile to recieve replies about this.

Also I am quite young and not a push around. I wouldn't allow a child to get that close with the intention of harming or groping me.

If the children don't do the work - who cares obviously the teacher who isn't there doesn't care. Personally I would never leave work for a teacher and expect it to be completed especially in a secondary school. The work shouldn't be that important if it is missed. It's the teachers fault if they left work that is important.

I would also not go home and make or look for worksheets which I could have used. That wasn't the problem. The children were. It doesn't make a difference what work there is if the behaviour is bad.

I would maybe invest in a DVD to show, lol, for certain ages. In the ICT lesson I would have told them all to go on You Tube and find the funniest videos. Make it a competition to find best video. If a porn site worked then You Tube should be working.

I wouldn't have told them not to go on the porn site I would have humiliated them for going on their instead. Use a very loud voice and make sure the girls can hear. If your day is going to be a disaster make sure it is dramatic.
