I have often found that, as a supply teacher working in school for a half-term, whole term or several successive terms, the 'management' do not consider me to be entitled to PPA. My way of dealing with this is to accept that I cannot do the job as successfully without the PPA, and the school must take the same view. This means they cannot criticise me for failing to complete tasks, which would have been done during the PPA time.
