During my NQT year we had a PE person come in and do things like this. One of them was getting a group of children 5 or 6 and getting them to stand in a circle holding hands. You hook a hula hoop onto one of their joined arms (obviously by unjoining it first, lol) and they have to figure out how to get the hoop around the circle and back to the first person by working together and climbing through it.
Another one I would only do if a) I trust the class and b)the mats were light enough was similar to one of your To view links or images in this forum your post count must be 1 or greater. They have to use the mats to get from one side to the other side of the hall without stepping off so by passing one mat over their heads carefully. I was a bit dubious about this because I was worried about knocking each other over with the mats but it worked when the PE person did it. I personally think doing it with hoops would be safer!!
Last one was a bit like musical chairs, put loads of hoops out on the floor of the hall and get the children to dance about them. When the music stops you have to get in a hoop, keep taking hoops away, encouraging the children to get into hoops and stay in by keeping hold of each other and helping.
I probably know others but I can't think of them now.
