apparently they are starting to move to an electronic version - costs more - but you fill it in online and the results are instantaneous and kept on file for other companies to ask for. I can't remember the website, or whether it has gone live, but hopefully that will make our lives easier - I've got 7 CRBs because I live in between counties and will be working for 5 different agencies (to be cut to 3), it's silly!!
