e me think, yet again, that I am sticking by my decision NOT to apply for anything again, but then, as I've said before, I can because my NQT year is over. I've been at 2 lovely schools this week, and am pulling in just about enough work. Frustrating for you guys though, and I really feel for you both, it's so hard.

I do have a morning a week coming up for a few weeks - something to do with family learning, I need to get in touch with the school tomorrow.

As far as references are concerned, Wendy, mine aren't very up to date, and I don't think they fully reflect my current teaching performance, but they are the best I've got. I'm hoping I'll get a long term, and then I might get a more up to date reference! It sounds to me like in both cases they were looking for an excuse.
