Hi Lydia and welcome. From what I can gather you may able to claim the job seekers allowance throughout hols (according to others). There are other options such as holidayscheme workers, working with foreign students etc. probably best to start checking these out now, if you can find out who runs the holidayscheme clubs you may be able to put your name down and it's all valuable experience for you. Also working with foreign students who want to improve their english is quite fun, I did it last year and really enjoyed it.
