is basically impossible!

We've got one, but we just came to the end of their special offer period, so now we want to change it to another company... but hey, guess what? We now don't earn enough to have the self and same mortgage! It doesn't seem to count for anything these days that we've never missed a payment and that our parents (no matter how old we are

We're going down the route of a self-certified mortgage as we'd like to increase the amount we borrow. I'm writing this so that you know about them, they're not that well advertised.

for self-employed, newly employed (with no P45 from last year etc.), the soon-to-be employed and the would-rather-be employed etc. You have to be sure that you'll be able to pay it back though. I think they just realise that us 'professionals' will sort it out before we get into a situation where we get our house repossessed... like sell up and get somewhere smaller or something.
