Can you believe, after all that nonsense, I got a letter from them on Saturday to say I couldn't have any money after all!!

Apparently I didn't pay enough national insurance during 2004/2005. Rather unfair I think - I didn't pay national insurance because I wasn't earning anything, therefore I need something now even more!
Up till July 2004 I was doing my PGCE. Jan 2005 onwards, was working, therefore paying NI. Shouldn't the LEA have been paying my contributions while I did my PGCE?
I don't know, I'm completed bemused by the whole thing. All I understand is that I have no money and aren't going to.
