Danfur, it's a lot easier in Cumbria, you just work, and the school secretary asks you to sign a time sheet. The very first time sheet you have will action some form filling up at Carlisle. Then every school you work in each month will ask you (unless you have to prompt them) to sign your timesheet - should be at the end of the month, but many ask on the first day you work that month in case you're not in again.
