Disrespect FROM adults!
I work in the shittest school there is round here. I've been the only supply teacher they've had in the past 2 years now. No-one else will come/come back. The kids are from poor backgrounds, and the teachers do little to make them feel safe/welcome/supported when they get to school. OFSTED slate them.
I'm a bloody good teacher, with a fantastic track record, references, results etc., etc., 'blowing my own trumpet'...
Some PPA cover I do, has been changed to another day (that bit's fine) because (this bit isn't) I was teaching Numeracy (I have been Numeracy Co-ordinator in a top of the county league school in the south-east before), and they didn't think it was working as the kids play me up, they'd rather they didn't 'miss' an hours numeracy, so can I go in a different day and do RE instead! Arghhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!
